Leicturman Nature Elopement | Terie + Carey

ELOPEMENT IN MEMPHIS, TN
Let me tell you... photographing their big day, literally felt like I was hanging out with my two really good friends that were about to be married. It was our first time meeting that day, and not an instant went by that I felt they were new friends. There was something so warm and relaxing about their energy that made hanging out with them so easy. They both decided to get dressed at their house, so I did have to tuck Carey away while she was getting in her dress - so they could have a proper first look. Their cute home really reflected who they were, what they enjoyed and their little family that was growing. Terie's daughter, Juniper, was also such a joy to be around.
Long story short about their love story -WHICH I LOVE. They met at a college. She chased him and read ULYSSES to garner his attention, since she found out that, that was his favorite book. ULYSSES! folks! Have you seen that book?! GT would be lucky to have me read any book for him. They exchanged emails, as she was hoping he would ask her for drinks. They talked about all sorts of literature, and finally.... finally Carey asked her to grab beers so they could compare notes on Ulysses. It worked. She got her man.
They were thinking of eloping in Ireland, where their honeymoon was scheduled, but decided on a small intimate ceremony around their loved ones - then leave the country for some fun. I told them I would of gone to Ireland with them! One of my favorite parts to my job to being so present and witnessing such love people have for one another. It warms my heart every weekend, and I so grateful to be apart of so many love stories.
